SEPTEMBER 1939: INVASION OF POLAND - DAY BY DAY: AN INDEX

Last year Polish Greatness (Blog) presented a special feature on the Invasion of Poland - A Re-enactment documenting the day to day events as if in real time, accompanied by rare archival photos and video footage. Many of my readers enjoyed the virtual experience to such an extent that they suggested I repeat the series the following year. I had seriously considered doing so, but have since embarked on a different project.

Currently in progress is a Special documentary series on the Warsaw Uprising. Daily posts have been made since the 1st of August 2011 and will continue up to and including October 6, 2011.  You can re-live history as if it is now in the making. Read about and see the Battles: the Politics: the Leaders: and members of Armia Krajowa. Discover Polish history from a unique perspective. This Special series is longer than most people are used to, but it will be an unforgettable experience. It will change your perspective of the world - past and present.

In an effort to accommodate those who wish to see a repeat of the "Re-enactment of the Invasion of Poland"  I have prepared the following Index which lists the URLs of each post in chronological order. Though it is not an actual re-run, I believe it is a fair compromise. The index provides you with greater ease of navigation and freedom to choose which posts you really want to read again (or for the very first time!)  If you are courageous enough to read the whole thing may I suggest you consider bookmarking the Index and just visiting it on a daily basis, at your own pace.
